This 3-minute assessment might talk you out of a financial services career.
Oihana Consulting builds independent agents. Financial services is not for everyone. Most people who try it do not make it, and we would rather you learn that in three minutes than three months. Answer honestly. If you should walk away, we will tell you. But if you are willing to put in the time, bring the work ethic, and stay open to being coached by people who have actually done the work, you may be in exactly the right place.

Common questions
How much does it cost to get licensed?
Plan on about $400 to $650 total for the pre-licensing course, the state exam, the license application, and the background steps. The exact total depends on your state. Those costs are yours, and they are not reimbursed. Oihana Consulting charges no fee to join, no registration fee, and no startup fee.
Is this a job with a salary?
No. This is an independent, commission-based business path. There is no salary, no base pay, and no guaranteed income.
Who pays for my licensing?
You do. Getting licensed is your cost, not ours. The assessment asks about this directly, because the people who do well here are willing to cover their own licensing.
What happens after I take the assessment?
We review your results, and someone from our team reaches out to set up a Zoom call and walk through them with you. Nothing is booked automatically, and every step after that is voluntary.
Do I need experience in financial services?
No. Most people who come through here are veterans and career changers from other fields. You do need to be legally authorized to work in the United States, because the work requires a state insurance license.
Is the work really remote?
Yes. The work is 100 percent remote, and training and team support run online.
Three minutes now beats three months of wondering.
The assessment is free, tells you honestly if this is not a fit, and is not an offer of employment.
